The Petzl EXO has quickly become an essential firefighter rescue device for all firefighters. The EXO is a NFPA certified firefighter escape system that allows a user to quickly escape danger from an upper floor of a burning building within seconds.
Because the EXO has a unique auto-lock feature, a firefighter can anchor inside the room and then quickly bailout onto the system. Once out and ready, they can defeat the EXO's "auto-lock" via a lever, and descend to safety.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
EXO Descender is an NFPA certifed auto-locking descender that allows the user to control their descent down to safety from an upper floor.
Crosby Anchor Hook is a dynamic anchoring hook that allows a firefighter to secure an anchor inside a room several different ways.
Petzl OK TRIACT is an triple action auto-locking carabiner that is used to connect the escape system to the users harness.
Technora Rope is a very strong, cut and heat resistant rope that is 50 feet in length and has a diameter or 7.5 mm.
